The foundation remains committed to focusing on education, which is consistent with the interest and vision of the late Lowell Hawthorne, founder and former President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery, who would often be heard reciting “A positive community is everybody’s business, and a mind is a terrible thing to waste.”
